My job is to collaborate with creative people.

I started my career at The Compound in Santa Cruz, CA making punk and hardcore records. Then I found Tiny Telephone, fell in love with analog recording, and spent about 10 years diving deep into this craft as a full-time studio engineer/producer. In 2016 I began mastering records in earnest, inspired by an analog ethos.

I have also toured the country as front-of-house sound and tour manager; performed live FX for many shows; engineered, mixed and sound designed content for TV, Film, Radio and podcasts; multi-track recorded live concerts; engineered live-stream broadcasts; installed sound systems; and consulted with architects on studio design.

Some of the wonderful artists I have had the pleasure to work with are: Magnetic Fields; John Vanderslice; Magik*Magik Orchestra; Thao and the Get Down Stay Down; Hot Buttered Rum; Samantha Crain; Into It Over It; Bells Atlas; Poor Man's Whiskey; MEERNAA; Chappo; Brother's Comatose; T-Sisters; Robin Williams; McSweeney's; Steep Ravine; Pomplamoose; Cocktails; Michael Thomas Howard; Doe Eye; One Grass Two Grass; Brass Magic; Gonzo (the muppet); and many many more.

Some of the producers I have worked with are: John Congleton; John Vanderslice; Tim Carbone; Alan Weatherhead; Steve Fisk; Sally Van Meter; John Moreland; Kyle Hollingsworth; Nat Keefe; Todd Sickafoose and others.
